About Us
Lauren Costa, Ryla Co-Founder, has more than 10 years of experience in the collections care and art logistics industry. Informed by her BFA in Painting, Lauren began her career working in museums. Soon after, she made the move to the art logistics field as an Art Handler, and afterwards, gained diverse experience as Dispatcher, Special Projects Manager, and, most recently, Training and Development Supervisor. Lauren is qualified to operate Forklifts, Telehandlers, and MEWPs, and is certified by NCCCO as Rigger II and Signalperson.
Ryan MacLeod, Ryla Co-Founder, has worked in the collections care and art logistics industry for more than 10 years, specializing in packing and crating, rigging and installation, and preventative conservation environments. Prior to co-founding Ryla FAS, Ryan worked as an Art Handler, Crew Chief, Crating Manager, and Construction Project Manager for prominent art services firms. Ryan holds a B.A. in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. He is qualified to operate Forklifts, Telehandlers, and MEWPs, holds his OSHA-30 card for the construction industry, and is certified by NCCCO as Rigger II and Signalperson.
